What to Expect at RBC

We all love coming together on Sunday mornings to set aside some time to worship our God together and fellowship as a church family. Our Sunday service is focused on worship, and God the One who is central in our worship. God calls us into His presence and invites us to come as we are. As we come to Him, we realize the reality of our sin against Him, but we are comforted because He offers grace and forgiveness as we repent of our sin and place faith in the person and finished work of Jesus Christ, confident in His love for us. There are three main things that will go on in our worship services that you'll find:

  • We sing songs as an act of praise, as an expression of gratitude for His work of redemption and as an act of mutual teaching and admonition.
  • We pray to Him in total dependence on Him.
  • We read and study the Bible to learn more of who He is and what He has done.

In addition to these, on the first Sunday of each month, we remember and celebrate the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus by observing communion, or the Lord's Supper, together. This serves as a remembrance of what Jesus has accomplished for us in the gospel, and it moves us to worship Him and live holy lives for His glory.

The atmosphere of our service is simple, casual, yet reverent, and we enjoy chatting and hanging around with refreshments before and after the service. Our people are friendly, and will love meeting you and getting to know you. Whether you’re skeptical, curious, or already a follower of Jesus, you are welcome in our church!
